For seven years Brent Stafford dodged the slings and arrows of daily news production. Whether hanging from a helicopter shooting forest fires, interviewing the mother of a missing child or doing a live-hit from the middle of a major urban riot Stafford always nailed the story. On-camera or off, Brent’s presence was felt in the newsroom.
One of the first news videographers Stafford shot, produced, wrote and edited his segments. He also co-produced the weekend news hour for 2 years. His professionalism and penchant for always getting the outstanding shot, the elusive interview and the perfect sound-bite is reflected in the stories and features he worked on.
